Dr. John Calcagno

Born and raised in the Gresham/Troutdale area, Dr. John Calcagno graduated from the OHSU School of Medicine in 1985. He’s been in private practice for 18 years, serving the greater Gresham community. He has been Chairman of the Oregon Pediatrics Society as well as a board member of Mt. Hood Medical Foundation, Mt. Hood YMCA and Good Health Plan IPA. Dr. John Calcagno is actively involved in the community and support events with Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center, Gresham Youth Sports Alliance and Human Solutions. He believes in giving back to the community. His role as a healthcare provider is to educate and empower people to take charge of their wellness. |
Dr. Frank Calcagno
| Dr. Frank Calcagno, also a graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University, joined the practice in 1999 after completing his residency at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California. Dr. Frank Calcagno takes a preventative care approach to treating his patients. This type of care was vital in Calcagno Pediatrics being awarded the Immunization Provider Award by the Oregon Partnership to Immunize Children in 2005. |

Annjanette (AJ) Sommers

Annjanette (AJ) Sommers is a Physicians Assistant (PA) who joined our clinic in January 2005. She studied exercise science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and received her Masters of Science and advance training as a PA from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. AJ has spent much of her time focusing on Asthma and has educated children and parents on how to best manage their condition. She loves the many opportunities to work with families and children and believes that families are the most important unit of the community. |
Kristen Dobyns, CPNP, RN

Kristen Dobyns is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and native of the Pacific Northwest. After earning her Bachelor degrees in both psychology and nursing, she pursued a Masters degree in nursing from Columbia University in New York City, graduating in May 2007. Kristen has a special interest in early childhood development and behavioral interventions, with the desire that each child is given the opportunity to reach his or her fullest potential. As a healthcare provider, she also enjoys the relationships that she develops with families while promoting wellness of the child and family as a whole. |
Michelle Linton, PA-C

Michelle Linton is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She completed her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and received her Master’s of Science and advance training as a PA from the University of Utah. Michelle takes a complete and inclusive approach to patients, treating both the immediate problems as well as the patient as a whole, involving patients and parents in care plans and health management. |
Lynne Frost, CPNP, RN

Lynne Frost is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who returns to Calcagno Pediatrics following a cross country move to New Hampshire and back. Lynne attended Regents College in New York for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her Master of Science degree from Oregon Health Science University. She has been practicing as a PNP since 2001 and prior to that worked for 9 years as a Registered Nurse in pediatric settings. Back in Oregon since early 2007, we are happy that Lynne has returned to our practice.
